Acceptable Recycling Materials

Only place recyclable materials into your blue container!

Aseptic Containers
    Juice boxes
Milk cartons

All colors of glass beverage and food containers (Please rinse and remove lids)



    (All metal food and beverage containers, including those made of aluminum,
    tin, steel and bi-metals: Aluminum cans (Soda cans, beer cans, etc.))
Pots and pans
Tin/steel food and beverage cans (Please rinse - Labels are okay)


    Most clean and dry household paper:

    Cardboard (Flatten and bundle with string no larger than 3'x3')

    Computer paper

    Envelopes (Including plastic window types)

    Food boxes (cereal, crackers)

    Junk mail and catalogs

    Magazines and phone books




    All rigid containers with recycling symbols 1-7, and other materials including:

    Milk and juice jugs

    Shampoo, detergent, and other household bottles (Please rinse and remove lids)

    Soft drink and water bottles

    Yogurt, margarine, and other food containers

Unacceptable Recycling Materials

Please do not place the following un-recyclable materials into your blue container!

Construction Debris

    Concrete, rocks, dirt

Electronic / Universal Waste

    Televisions, computers, cell phones, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs,mercury switches

Green Waste

    Grass, leaves, tree and bush cuttings

Household Hazardous Waste
    Paints, solvents, motor oil, cleaners, corrosives, used syringes

Un-Recyclable Glass, Metal, Paper and Plastic
