R O T A R Y    P A R K

Mission Statement

To provide and maintain public facilities of adequate quantity and quality, which will attract and accommodate a wide variety of recreational and cultural uses for the citizens of Oroville.

WE'VE RECENTLY IMPROVED OUR PARK PLAYGROUND

      2.14 Acres - Rotary Park is located between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue, and Stafford Avenue and Broderick Street.

Rotary Park playground area -The playground equipment was purchased for the amount of $20,000, and installed in May of 1989. Rotary Park

HISTORY
      Rotary Park was deeded to the City of Oroville in 1908, and was originally maintained by the Oroville Rotary Club. In 1930's, the Oroville Park Commission assumed the maintenance of the Park and upgrading. The Oroville Rotary Club has continued to participate in the care and maintenance of the Park.
