SBF Public Meeting for all applications that were submitted:  Tuesday, November 13, 2018 starting at 2:00 PM has been rescheduled to, Wednesday, January 16, 2019 starting at 1:00 PM in the City of Oroville Council Chambers,  1735 Montgomery Street, Oroville, CA 95966 

A determination was made on, July 25, 2018, by the SBF Steering Committee that $2,530,000 would be made available and offered through the 2018 Notice of Funds Available (“NOFA”).  On, August 27, 2018 the SBF Steering Committee approved the release of funds to be effective Thursday, September 6, 2018. The SBF Steering Committee’s approval provided that funds be offered in the following categories which is consistent to those approved in the Regional Fund Strategic Plan (“RFSP”).

  • Marketing/Community Benefit Fund:  $230,000.00
  • Project Fund:  $2,070,000.00
  • Revolving Loan Fund: $230,000.00

On a fund available basis (NOFA) the Fund Administrator publishes an SBF Grant Application with full submittal, documentation requirements and response time to interested parties. Priority consideration for funding projects with a documented source of matching funds or other cost-sharing mechanism is recommended.



Once published, the application is due forty-five (45) days from the date the NOFA is publicly noticed. The NOFA will be posted at: Oroville City hall, 1735 Montgomery Street, Oroville, CA 95965;; and Feather River Recreation & Parks District, 1875 Feather River Blvd. Oroville, CA 95965; Specific project funding criteria and application details outlined in the Grant Application and Program Guidelines.
