Overview

City of Oroville Fall Leaf Pick-up Program began October 31, 2000. The program
usually runs from the beginning of November to the middle of January. Notices
are posted in the newspaper, and can be printed above. After this time period,
it is violation of City Ordinances to place leaves in the streets.

Fall leaves are considered green waste and can be placed in your
Green Yard Waste Recycling Container for pickup on your regularly
scheduled yard waste recycling collection day.

Fall leaves can also be placed in the street for the street sweeper.
Leaves must be placed two feet from the curb in a long narrow row
that is no wider than 3 feet. Please note that leaves will only be
picked up on your regularly scheduled street sweeping day. Do not
place leaves on street more than 24 hours before the street sweeper
is scheduled.

The sweeper can only pick up leaves, no twigs, branches, rocks or
any other debris. Most of these items are welcome in your Green
Yard Waste Recycling Container.
