Safe & Affordable Housing
      The City of Oroville has provided services and
equipment beneficial to the citizens of Oroville from Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) AND Program Income and/or Oroville Redevelopment
Agency (RDA) funds as follows:
• Purchased a ladder truck
to provide emergency    service to its citizens
• Purchased play ground
equipment for two Oroville    city parks
• Provided funds for the Southside
Oroville    Community Center
• Rehabilitated buildings eliminating blight, provided
revenue sources for    the YMCA, and accomodation and funding for Community Action Agency
                  
Head Start Child Care Program
• Provided a portion of the funding needed
for the Peg Taylor Adult Day    Care Center located at the
Southside Oroville Community Center
• Provided funding to help with the expansion of the
Private Industry    Council's At Risk Youth Program by adding a catering component
• Carnegie Library ADA Remodel
      Entities needing funds for eligible projects and programs which are beneficial
to the citizens of Oroville should contact the Business Assistance and Housing
Development Department. Projects and programs must be located within the boundries
of the City of Oroville and programs must meet
eligibility requirements.
