Chapter 9B EXCAVATIONS
9B-2 Definitions.
(a) “Excavation” means artificial movement of
earth leaving any cut bank over ten feet in vertical height or any cut below a
line sloping at a grade of one vertical to two horizontal from the ground at any
property line.
(b) “Fill” means artificial movement of earth
leaving a fill earth bank over five feet deep or artificial addition of earth
above a line sloping up at a grade of one vertical or two horizontal from the
ground at any property line.
(c) “Grading” means artificial movement of over
fifty cubic yards of material, or movement of any earth affecting any natural or
existing legally established artificial drainage channel, or excavation or fill
as described in this section. (Ord. No. 1319, § 4.)
