Project Description:

This project is to locate and build a Whitewater park in the Feather River and/or the City. Currently, efforts by the City are underway to navigate the regulatory complexities of this project.

This project has been envisioned for over 10 years by community stakeholders. The City has been working with McLaughlin Whitewater to design a project, permit, and build it.

One of the more complicated facets of this project has to do with its location and the permitting through the administrative agencies that are required.

Milestones:

  • Hire McLaughlin Whitewater group for Task 1, 1a, and 2. These tasks will allow the project to move through the permitting process.
