Project Description:

The City Council Chambers is being remodeled. Some of the main improvements to the Council Chambers includes:

  • Improved aesthetics
  • New audio/visual system and components
  • Upgraded electrical power and lighting
  • New furniture/seating
  • 100% Disabled Accessibility compliance
  • Improved staff/council member usability
  • New interior finishes (paint, carpet, texture, etc)
  • New heating, ventilation, and mechanical system for City Hall with upgraded ducting

Milestones:

  • Plans were submitted for review to the Building Division for the Council Chambers Remodel (March 7, 2011)
  • Building permit was obtained for the Council Chambers Remodel (April, 13, 2011)
  • Building permit was obtained for the City Hall HVAC replacement (May 26, 2011)
  • Construction started for the Council Chambers Remodel (June 6, 2011)
  • Construction and building permit completed for the City Hall HVAC replacement (August 15, 2011)
