OROVILLE'S HISTORIC MUSEUMS RE-OPEN AFTER ANNUAL CLEANING
OROVILLE CA – FEBRUARY 1, 2017 – All of Oroville’s Museums will reopen this weekend after having been closed for several weeks for annual cleaning. The energetic Museum Docents have carefully dusted, cleaned, and re-displayed the multiple artifacts that grace the five museums which include: Bolt’s Antique Tool Museum, C.F. Lott Home in Sank Park, the Chinese Temple & Museum Complex, the Feather River Nature Center & Native Plant Park and the Pioneer History Museum.
Each of the museums contain interesting displays and artifacts depicting life in the Oroville Community and may be toured on your own, or guided by one of the Museum Docents. Information about the museums is available by visiting the City website: www.cityoforoville.org and simply clicking on the Visitors tab.
Another great way to package and see the museums is to purchase a Museum Passport which entitles the holder and up to three guests to visit each of the museums multiple times during the year. Passports priced at $25.00 are available at City Hall, 1735 Montgomery Street or Bolt’s Antique Tool Museum. Questions may be directed to the City at (530) 538-2415.
