Hammon Park is a 5.5 acre park that was dedicated by the City of Oroville on Friday, October 7, 1988. The park is prized for its open turf areas that can accommodate baseball, soccer and football activities. In addition to six individual picnic areas there is a covered group picnic area equipped with barbeques that has enough space to hold 64 people comfortably.

Special features include:

  • Large Covered Picnic Area
  • Two play structures (new in 2006);
    • one for tots ages 0-6 and
    • one for children ages 7-12
  • Basketball Court
  • Large Lawn Area
  • 35 parking spaces in adjacent lot
  • ADA compliant parking and restrooms
